Unique geometric earrings in oxidized brass, contemporary and lightweight.
The simple shapes were hand-cut from metal which has been carefully textured for an organic, earthy feel, then filed and sanded with two different types of sand-paper for a subtle finish. The tapered ends were then joined with the sterling silver ear wires. Finally, the earrings were oxidized, the brass to a deep, varied gold, the silver to black.
This design is inspired by my own thinking about shapes and ancient Phoenician earrings.
